How Peter Got Started

I have always had an interest in the field of mental health.  I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Alberta, and graduate studies at Yorkville University.  I then completed my internship and training in the general psychiatry units at Alberta Hospital Edmonton, working with adults of all ages who were admitted to the hospital as inpatients with a wide variety of mental health concerns and presentations.  Later, my residency took place in a busy private practice setting.  While there, I completed my examinations and other requirements to become a registered psychologist in the province of Alberta.  It is in private clincial practice where I have remained over the past seven years.

About You

Every individual has a unique story and deserves to be truly heard. It is critical that your psychologist "meet you where you are" psychologically.  That means working collaboratively to tailor your treatment to approaches that resoante with you, are appropriate to your concerns and current wellbeing, and for which you are ready.  Your emotional and psychological wellness is at the heart of everything I do, and I'm here to support you on your journey of healing and psychological and mental health.
